The article describes the usage of authoring tool in on-line courses (or other eL tools) development. In the frame at the article the need of authoring tool deployment is justified too. The article in its core describes basic functionality of the tool. It describes also the way of incorporation of the tool to overall e-Learning development system. In conclusion the author of the article shows the necessity and forms of methodological support of author‘s work during on-line courses development pr ocesses.
