Influence of tube vibration on hydrodynamic force excitement

Result description

The objective of this work is a numerical simulation of S.S.Chen's experiment on the channel with crosswise water-flow tube row. One tube in the tube row is oscillated. The goal is determination of the hydrodynamic structural forces. Some results from the numerical simulation, influence of frequency, the used computation models and the mesh influence on the excitation of hydrodynamic force are presented.
