    Components of complex shapes with new structures types can be prepared by combination of new technologies together with usage of different kinds of materials. One of these possibilities is combination of powder metallurgy with a semi-solid state technology. Different types of composites can be prepared by this technology. Manufacturing process of the composite was tested; its matrix was composed of iron and aluminium, reinforced by alumina particles and by aluminides.
