Original language description
We present and share our experience obtained through education in a degree-level course on system design engineering of technical products, in which we successfully integrate engineering design research, education and industrial practice. We focus on andshare the experience with the key instruments of this concept, which are education design projects for industry solved by cross-disciplinary student teams. We have identified and present nine key factors that help our students and ourselves to achieve valuable and repeatedly validated long-term results of these projects.
