Company?s ability to innovate its products or processes was, and always will be, one of the factors of success. There are many types of innovations and these innovations have also various effects on production system. Naturally, it is very hard to satisfy the demands of all people due to their variability and it is the same case with innovations. Innovations can have both positive and negative impacts. For example innovation of a process can have a positive impact on productivity but can worsen logistics. This paper intends to demonstrate, with the help of virtual production system, how the product innovation can affect ergonomics of the workplace.
