The present world-market situation creates permanent competitive pressure for manufacturing companies. One of the ways of advancing competitive abilities is cooperating and associating in network organizations. Within these organizations companies may also cooperate in manufacturing, where companies can mutually expand their manufacturing base and make better use of their production capacity. The content of this paper deals with the approach to logistics between the members of the network organization.In particular there is an analysis of methods for assessing suitable variants of transport between individual enterprises, especially from a cost standpoint. Further is described a procedure to find whether it is appropriate for more than one member of anetwork organization to produce.
