This article aims to give a simple overview of order processing in non-repetitive production (unit production and small series production) to readers who have no experience with this type of production. The article describes the process since receipt ofthe order from the customer until the dispatch of finished products. In addition, some common problems connected with daily functioning of the company are listed. The second part is dedicated to a discussion of appropriateness of use of software tools.
