Original language description
This paper describes the methodology for calculating the surcharge to the purchase price for putaway. The proposed methodology consists of three consecutive steps, and has two practical outputs. The first step is used to prepare all necessary data. The second step is calculation of fixed costs per pallet space per day in a warehouse. The third step is calculation of surcharge to the purchase price for putaway. Practical outputs correspond to these steps. The first output is the value of costs and the second is the value of the calculated surcharge. The whole methodology was practically verified in a case study performed in a production company.
