At the end of 2014 Faculty Mechanical Engineering at University of West Bohemia have got a teaching license and research license of program called nCode GlyphWorks, the data processing system for test data analysis. The nCode software is used as a supporting tool of the course "Service strength and durability of vehicles" and as an important tool of Laboratory of Service Strength and Fatigue Life Testing. The paper will focus on two different approaches of evaluating fatigue life of structures using nCode software. The first, more common, is a nominal approach and the second is a reverse procedure that allows iterative calculations of basic parameters of the components to meet the required fatigue lifetime.
