Printing of Thin Walls using Method DMLS
Original language description
This work deals with the problematics of 3d print. Adittive manufacturing (AM) covers a lot of principles of production products and prototypes for example a principle Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS). This principle is based on sintering metal powder in thin layers, layer by layer. This theme is very extensive and very popular research area. The paper is focused on print of thin walls. The material for print was chosen MaragingSteel MS1. This matetial achieves great mechanical properties like as high strength and high hardness. The tensile strenght can be up 2000 MPa after the age hardening. The printer was used EOS M290. The effects of different part position on safety of print are compared. Also, the effect of support structures on accuracy has been investigated. The main part of the paper is focused on the experiment where thin walls were printed and subsequent were evaluated. The Influences and limitation have been investigated. The measuring was realized using microscope Blickle Multicheck PC500.
