3D Laser Scanned Data Processing Possibilities for Production Floors Models
Original language description
This paper deals with possibilities of factory layout modeling using 3D laser scanners. The paper explains laser scanner principles and shows the current options and the use of scanned data. The process of modelling production floors using scanning technology is described in the main part. The process is described on a specific case. Then the options for using the acquired data for modeling the manufacturing system is shown. One general processing and two post-processing methods are explored using more software tools which are suitable for scanning production floors. These twopost-processing methods are compared in the conclusion.
