The international conference on the topic of “Nuclear power and Green Deal” took place on September 14th – 15th at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Among the main speakers of the plenary session were the advisor to the Deputy Minister of Nuclear Energy Department, Ing. Pavel Šotola; the representative of the Department of Nuclear Energy IAEA, Dr. John Roberts; Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Project Director, EDU II a.s., Ing. Zbyněk Mrázek; Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director, ŠKODA JS a.s., Ing. František Krček; President ENS a ENEN, prof. Dr. Leon Cizelj; Chairman of CENEN, prof. Ing. Tomáš Čechák, CSc.; representative of Czech Academy of Sciences, RNDr. Vladimír Wagner, CSc.. After the plenary session, fife specialized sessions took place in which the representatives of foreign companies participated, for example KHNP, Westinghouse, EdF and others. The conference was simultaneously translated to English and Czech language. The entire conference was also streamed online on YouTube.
