Original language description
The report summarizes results of drop test of 10 whip locks. The definition of the test is following: One end of our rope samples are fixed to ideal non elastic frame, the other sample end is connected to a first end of adapter cable with adjustable length. Second end of adapter is connected with a defined weight. Adapter cable is needed to make sure all sample ropes (different length) has to take same dynamic load. Final sample+adapter cable length end to end is 1000 mm (always same for all samples). Weight and fixed rope connection at same height level. Weight is released and will free-fall down until catch by rope. Dynamic load at rope is detected by sensor at rope fixed connection point.
