Original language description
The paper deals with the computer modelling of induction cleaning and drying surfaces of axi-symmetric non-ferromagnetic metal bodies polluted by oil or other undesired liquids before their painting. This technological process is based on fast heating ofthe surface layers of the body by high-frequency external electromagnetic field on the temperature of their vaporisation. The task is formulated as a quasi-coupled problem of the quasi-stationary electromagnetic field and non-stationary thermal field Respected are also the skin effect in the field conductors, temperature dependencies of the material characteristics and influence of the possible shielding elements. Computations are performed by means of program QuickField supplemented with single-purpose user programs developed and written by the authors. The theoretical analysis is illustrated on a typical example, whose results are discussed.
