    The paper deals with evaluation of the voltages in overhead telecommunication lines induced by fault currents or overvoltage phenomena in near parallel power lines. The theoretical analysis is supplemented with an illustrative example. Its results give agood idea about the mutual interaction of two parallel lines in the harmonic steady state.
