    This paper is dealing with the control of doubly-fed machine supplied into rotor by indirect frequency converter. The using of doubly-fed machine bring a some advantages (for example the possibility to use converter with less performance for drive with ahigh performance, lower influence to the supply grid, low cost etc.). This paper shows some practical examples for using of this drive and describes these attributes.
