Paper-oil insulation of transformers is reliable solution of high performance insulating system. Power transformer contains huge amount of oil. Due to the international agreements and environmental requirements it is compulsion to substitute petroleum based oils with synthetics or vegetable oils. This study monitors the influence of oil type (synthetic and mineral) on the final insulating system properties. The main degradation factor - temperature is respected and properties under thermal stress are studied considering the importance of degradation understanding. The thermal analyses as well as the electrical test methods were used to perform the test results

Czech description
Systém olej-papír je spolehlivý izolační systém pro náročné aplikace, zejména pro výkonové transformátory. Výkonové transformátory obsahují velké množství oleje. Vzhledem k mezinárodním dohodám, ekologickým trendům a vzrůstající ceně ropy je třeba hledatnáhradu ve formě syntetických či rostlinných olejů. Tento článek se zabývá zkoumáním vlastností vybraných olejů v systému olej-papír při teplotním stárnutí.
