This paper deals with epoxy resin insulators. Surface resistivity is an important property of insulators. Influence of cleaning and regeneration of the insulator surface on surface resistivity are described. Measurement was carried out on board specimensprepared from the same resin as the insulators. Theoretical hypothesis according to which silicon oil increases surface resistivity was not verified by the measurement results.
