We have to sense, transmit and process relatively week high-frequency signals during partial discharges detection and measurement. The waveform of the sensors' output signal has a shape of burst of needle pulses with very steep front edge. The processingof such a signal is very demanding in terms of all the measuring equipment including transmission system. The transmission system has often to fulfil several opposed requirements in this case. The paper deals with problem of safe and efficient run out of the signal from measured object to the measuring instrument.
