    Surge phenomena on transmission lines

  • Original language description

This paper deals with surge phenomena on transmission lines. The attack of lightning stroke is considered, so the source of surge phenomena is modelled like an injected current wave at random place on the transmission line. The problem is solved in timedomain using the FDTD method. Several configurations of transmission line has been investigated in our work - homogeneous and non-homogeneous one-phase line and homogeneous three-phase line.
