Influence of thermal radiation for heat transfer on electrical equipment

  • Original language description

The heat transfer on electrical equipment detemines maximal permissible temperature values and in the same manner also the maximal permissible current. Generally, the heat can be transferred by convection and(in case of diatherm medium) by radiation. Foroptimization of heat transfer, especially in the interesing temperature range of 100-200 °C, often only the convection part is considered. It will be schown, that even in that temperature range the radiation part of heattransfer must be tanken into vertical plate.
