This paper deals with question of composite insulation of fire resistance cables. There are described materials and technology which are applied at this insulation. Composite tube as insulation is composed of mica-glass tape and addition insulation. Nextpart of this paper is concerned with mechanical property of composite tube. It is elongation at break which is used as diagnostic quantity. Diagnostic system is determined at the final part of this paper.
