Original language description

The sensing of transformer acoustic responses from transformer tank surface is used relatively often in connec-tion with the electrical measuring methods at the partial discharges monitoring in the transformer insulating system, whether during the voltage tests at the producer, or at diagnostic and prophylactic measurement in service. The transformer operational systems are exposed at these measurements to alternating voltages and currents usually with the supply frequency and the transformer expositionby alternating voltage creates conditions for this application. The using of this philosophy in connection with the impulse stress of transformers brings completely different possibilities, but also the problems at right interpretation of sensing signals.
