Higher-Order Finite Element Modelling of Tools Clamping Using Thermoelastic Effects
Original language description
The paper deals with induction heating of a machine tool before its pressing on a shaft with the aim to find the optimum parameters of its regime. These parameters are affected by the arrangement of the inductor, its position, parameters of used materials, amplitude and frequency of the source current etc. The task is solved as hard coupled problem by a higher-order finite element method using the hp-adaptivity.
