Organic humidity sensors - Improvement of climatic resistance

  • Original language description

This paper deals with research and development of humidity sensors based on organic sensitive materials. Organic sensors consist of the base substrate with the electrode system. The base substrate consists of 99 % alumina, electrodes are gold. Electrodeshave the interdigital form with the isolation gap 25 ?m wide and finger 25 ?m wide. Organic material is applied on the substrate by the spin coating. The main work was focused on the stabilization of organic sensor layers. Organic sensitive materials are usually very complicated chemical compounds which are able to change their electrical or optical properties on actual conditions. The changes of organic material properties are caused by the chemical interaction with surrounding atmosphere (e.g. humidity). Although these changes could be fully reversible they can lead to the layer instability. The aim of the work is to find out the way how to improve the long term stability of organic sensitive layer, while the sensitivity, response ti
