    Modelling of LTC Transformers in the Load Flow Analysis by the Gauss-Seidel Method

    In this paper, load tap changing (LTC) transformers have been included into the existing version of the developed software package in the Matlab environment and used for performing the load flow (LF) analysis of a broad variety of IEEE test power systemsusing the fundamental Gauss-Seidel (G-S) iterative method. In the modelling section of the paper, two different acceleration techniques have been employed for speeding-up the numerical process and evaluated. Results have been verified with those obtained from robust online optimization library NEOS Server.
