Original language description
Effect of transient voltage drop in the addiction of activity powered devices depends on the size of the voltage drop and its duration. The effect on ordinary device is usually a small. Large impact has on the semiconductor device, especially for higherpower. Most of the frequency converters is designed as an uncontrolled rectifier with output capacitor. He subsequently became a source of energy for the inverter. As soon as arised the voltage drop, on the bigger power converters dropped quickly the voltage on the capacitor. This usually leads to the action of the undervoltage protections and switch off the frequency converters. The paper describes possible causes and consequences of the interruption of the action and shown other procedures.
