This research report deals with redesign of a 50kW electrically excited synchronous machine. The analytic electromagnetic design of the machine and design of machine's excitation are included in this report. In comparison to previous design steps this research report considers higher nominal speed of the machine and rectangle-shaped winding wires for both excitation and stator winding.
