Paper deals with the possibilities of easily-implemented techniques for island detection of distributed generators (DG), especially by those which use inverters. The paper is focused on two active islanding detection methods for a single-phase current control voltage inverter working with a PV system connected into the grid - phase locked loop (PLL) method and active frequency drift method.
