    In the light of continued process of the non-renewable energy sources exhausting, which is more and more accelerated as a result of world growing requirements, and with respect to the growing pressure towards the achievement of the maximal utilization rate of alternative energy sources, there is a very rapid development in fields of the technology evolution and of the installation of all facilities that enable to use this potential to the electricity generation, in recent decades. Among these systems are also wind power plants that markedly contribute to the increase of the share of the renewable energy on the total electricity consumption. There are several systems that can be used to electricity generation from the wind energy and with the operationof them some undesirable impacts on the electric network are connected. In this paper, the system of the wind power plant with constant speed, which uses the squirrel cage asynchronous generator is explained, simulations of its operation
