This article presents main features of picosatellite embedded computer.The main goal of this work is to design powerful, energy efficient and flexible failure handling embedded system. The core of this system is based on Philips ARM LPC2148 microcontroller with suitable balance between performance and power consumption.The microcontroller is responsible for processing of incoming messages, operation command handling (decoding), slave devices control and also for acquiring data from satellite measurementsystems
