MVD Fan Save 2012 is an expert system developed for qualified design and complex comparison and optimization of fan systems. Primarily, it is focused on fun systems in thermal / nuclear power plants. The tool is intended for optimization of the whole system from pneumatic part including pneumatic system and fan over drive to power supply network. The tool supports both axial and radial type of fans including the most commonly used flow control methods. Classical flow control methods are compared with variable speed flow control method using motor fed by frequency converter. Functions for economical comparison are also included.
