Original language description
This paper deals with research on low lifespan of small brushed DC motor used in wheelchairs. These days the material properties are pushed to the limit. As a result many failures appear during lifespan of many devices. This paper discusses possible reasons of decreased lifespan of the DC motor as well as describes measurements carried out. The evaluation of data measured was computer-assisted and results obtained are discussed. Measures are proposed.
