Influence of the regenerative breaking on pantograph thermal balance
Original language description
The paper deals with thermal management of a pantograph for electric trains. Currently used models were designed to withstand heat losses produced during acceleration period in disregard of energy recuperation. Due to the fact a thermal model has been developed to estimate temperature profile of a pantograph and to compare computed results with tests.
