Original language description
A device for electrostatic separation of triboelectrically charged plastic particles is experimentally verified. A mixture consisting of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and industrial mixture consisting of HDPE and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) are used for the experiment. The objective and the purpose of this paper is to provide information on the structure of this experimental device for electrostatic separation of triboelectrically charged plastic particles andintroduce experiments with this device which are aimed at the efficiency and purity of the separation.
