The Use of Cross-Correlation in Eddy CurrentDefectoscopy
Result description
The mathematical model of surface defect detection using a differential reflection eddy current probe is described. This model was solved using finite element method (FEM) implemented in Agros2D software. Obtained signal was artificially jammed by whitenoise and by noise produced by switching power supply. Cross-correlation of the jammed signal with a reference pulse was used for the noise elimination.
