Original language description
This paper describes island operation which can occur in electric power units operation. An occurrence of this state and conditions under them the units can work are mentioned in the article. Further, the paper is focused on island operation control, howthis system works, and which conditions have to be fulfilled to keep the units in stable state. System facilities of the units for providing of island operation are presented in the article as well. As the solve method of the problem, the steam turbineand generator model connected to grid which is made in Matlab Simulink was created. In this model switching off to the island operation is simulated. As the output values from this simulation active power, turbine speed rotation and valves opening are plotted.
