Computational analyses of the magnetic flow meter sensor
Original language description
The paper deals with magnetic flow meters, which have also wide range of application in industry and power engi-neering. In the last years, battery operated magnetic flow meters with operating life from 5 to 10 years are required by customers. Magnetic flow meters sensors used in net-work operated types are not able to satisfy these require-ments. Research and optimization of the sensors design are therefore necessary. Theoretical analyses are used to design and improve the new sensors, where the numerical analyses of the electromagnetic field, flow field and coupled task for computation of the induced electric potential are the main tools. The paper presents some methods of the induced electric potential computation.
