THE LOSSES REDUCING ON TRANSMISSION POWER LINES
Original language description
Power systems in many states around the world have accepted deregulation. The aim is to reduce the price of electric power and to offer better service to electric power consumers. The transmission field is much more noticeable in the power system deregulation. How can an investment to the transmission field be recovered? The cost of transmission lines construction can be recovered from transmission users as a wheeling price. In electric power transmission system, the wheeling is the transportation of electric power over transmission lines. Until now, the wheeling price model has been separated into two methods: a marginal cost method and an embedded cost method. The presented method of wheeling prices will include the losses cost of transmission lines.
