The article contains analysis about the state of transformer insulation. For determine the state of transformer was used the return voltage measurement method. While the other, basic methods, which are set in the standard, return voltage measurement is more complex method and in many cases is determine a clear result very difficult. Moisture content, content of conductive imputities in oil and degree of aging og paper insulation has mainly impact to the state of transformer insulation. These maladies also affect to the accuracy of the calculations and to determine a clear result.
