Trends and technologies in the field of energy storage
Original language description
Currently are mainly used for energy storage - pumped storage power stations. However application for local energy system is inappropriate. Trends in energy has tendency to increase of decentralize generation, where renewable energy can obtain significant application. Considerable variability of output of mainly solar and wind energy causes problems in their integration into power systems. Using of storage methods can provide solutions to these problems. In this contribution are identified and analyzedways of power accumulation and evaluation their usability in local electricity production. The following gives the current situation and trends in the using of storage technologies which are implemented in local networks. In conclusion are outlined tendencies of further developments in this area that is the subject of research in many scientific and corporate teams.
