Utilization of modified virtual method for frequency and voltage primary control in microgrid with photovoltaic power plants
Original language description
Maintaining of qualitative parameters of electric network is very important in all electric power system as well as in microgrids island mode. Due to the distributed generation units which working with renewable power sources it is difficult to maintain a power balance between demand and supply. When the line impedance is not mainly inductive and resistive the values of frequency and voltage can be regulated by means of virtual control methods. This paper deals with the modification and analysis of the virtual frequency and voltage methods. The first parts describe principle and adjustment of this method. The proposed control circuit is evaluated by means of the MATLAB Simulink. The final part contains simulation results showed that this virtual method is possible to use for regulation of decentralized power sources in microgrids.
