Noise measurement of power transformer
Original language description
Noise is a very important parameter of power transformer. The noise is represented by measured sound power. For sound power determination of the power transformer there are methods standardized by EN 60076- 10. These standard methods are based on measurement of sound pressure or sound intensity in few points only. The information about dissipated sound power is not enough in some cases. Due to there was designed method for localization of most noisy parts of the transformer. The method is based on sound intensity mapping in a regular grid. Obtained data are used for creation colour map of sound intensity and sound power calculation.
