Voltage and frequency regulation in microgrids with photovoltaic power station
Original language description
The future in electric power supplying is characterized by huge deployment of AC and DC distributed generations (DG). The main requirement was caused by the maximum use of local energy resources in countries with advanced technologies with good cost flows, into the usable energy forms. Huge possibility has especially photovoltaic generation together with accumulation systems or with others local power generators. The micro-grids (MC) have the advantages that they can provide power for appliances in island mode, that’s means that the most important task of regulation of them is to deliver desired power to the consumption system. This power supply systems require more flexible, modular end technical very simple control systems. There were many control methods proposed for such MC systems. In the case when only DC generator with inverters are used to supply MC, there is necessary to apply the decentralized coordinated control with minimal communication, which is the effective way how to control DGs. This paper deals with the modification and analysis of the virtual frequency and voltage method for primary and secondary frequency and voltage control in electric network.
