Determination of heat flux for needs of modelling multi-layer smart protective suit
Original language description
When heat transfer phenomena is modelled in the domain of electrical engineering, exact values of boundary conditions and material parameters are generally unknown and for the simulation are in many cases estimated. In this article is presented calculation of heat flux which was previously unknown in the task of modelling heat transfer through multi layer firefighter smart protective suit. Heat flux is determined from measured temperature evolution on the back side of Cu plate which is mounted in measurement apparatus (simulating firefighter standing in a constance distance to the source of heat flux) and compared with values of heat flux measured using Flux meter.
