    Time-optimal current trajectory for predictive speed control of PMSM drive

  • Original language description

    A new method of time-optimal control of the currents in permanent magnet synchronous machine is proposed. The voltage is constrained to lie a in circle of known diameter. Implicit equation for the time-to-go function is provided and its numerical solution is proposed. To avoid chattering, the current control is deterministically switched with predictive current controller. We show how to apply the proposed solution in cascade control of the PMSM drive.
