Peristaltic pump with magnetoelastic drive
Original language description
This paper deals with a new type of pump for liquids. Unlike the existing peristaltic pumps, the drive of the pump described is based on the physical properties of the magnetic fluid or the magnetoelastic properties of the solid structures. The suction and discharge effect of the pump ensures a running magnetic wave. The pump is described both in linear and circular arrangement. Unlike the existing pump types, the pump described has some advantageous properties.
