Induced currents in the switched-off conductors from the parallel circuits located on the same pylon
Original language description
This paper deals with an analysis of the induced currents on the multi-circuit lines, namely on the induced currents in conductors of the switched-off circuits. These observed currents are induced via mutual inductive and capacitive couplings from the circuits on the same pylon which are in operation. For the purpose of the analysis of this phenomenon the transmission line model has been developed. It consists of the cascades of mutually coupled two-ports. This transmission line model has been described with the system of ordinary differential equations of the 1st order, which was numerically solved in MATLAB. The advantage of this approach is that it allows evaluating the induced currents in the case of standard operation as well as in the case of transients such a short circuit. In this paper the calculations have been performed for a quadruple transmission line with two EHV and HV circuits.
