Original language description
This article describes evaluation and application of low cost data acquisition device for selected tasks in electrical power engineering. The first part discusses theoretical and technical limits of NI PCI-6221 DAQ. Following chapter inscribes application for current / voltage measurement and monitoring with focus on high voltage side of AC-DC inverters. Next section deals with power quality measurements respecting the IEC 610000-3-12 and explains limitations of developed utility for this application. The DC measurements on photovoltaic systems explicated on developed SCPI controlled measuring ports switch is introduced in the last paragraph.
