Original language description
A printed log-periodic biconical dipole array antenna (PLPBDA) for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measurements has been designed, modeled, and fabricated. Size reduction of 54% and bandwidth enhancement of 170% have been achieved by replacing the straight shape dipoles with bow-tie shape dipoles. Furthermore, the balance feeding method is utilized to reflect a wide impedance bandwidth of 5.5 GHz and a flat realized gain of (4.6-7) dBi.
